What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of data that a website stores in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) works similarly — we describe it here alongside cookies and ask for your permission for it too.
On your first visit the site shows a window with choices. Until you decide, only necessary data is stored — and only after you tap any button in that window.
Necessary — needed for the site to work
Without them the site won't remember your choice and will ask again on every page. They can't be turned off.
| Name | Where it's stored | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
timora_consent | cookie | Your choice in the cookie settings: whether functional cookies and statistics are allowed | 12 months |
Functional — optional
They make the site more convenient: the schedule opens instantly, without choosing the university and group again. If you decline, the site works the same, it just doesn't remember your choice. When you decline, this data is deleted from the browser.
| Name | Where it's stored | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
timora.site.institution | localStorage | Chosen university | Until you decline or clear the browser |
timora.site.group | localStorage | Chosen group | Until you decline or clear the browser |
timora.site.week | localStorage | The current week's schedule — to show it instantly while a fresh one loads | Up to 7 days, then replaced |
Statistics — optional
Helps us understand which pages are useful. The site tells the Timora server only the name of the opened page, for example “Schedule”, and the server adds one to the counter for the day. Nothing is stored in the browser for this, IP addresses and identifiers are not recorded, and no third-party services are involved.
What the site doesn't have
- third-party counters and analytics — no Yandex Metrica, no Google Analytics;
- ad networks, pixels and advertising identifiers;
- social media buttons that track visitors;
- third-party cookies.
The site's fonts, scripts and images are loaded only from Timora servers. Links to Telegram, VK, the App Store and RuStore lead to their websites — their own rules apply there.
How to manage
You can change your choice at any time: the “Change cookie settings” button at the top of this page or the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete the site's data in your browser settings — then the site will ask about cookies again.
